The Move is On

We did indeed find a house and signed a lease on Monday.  We are planning to move in next Monday the 11th.  It is a nice 4 bedroom, 2 Bath home on a cul-de-sac and walking distance to a nice park.  Easy access to EVERYTHING - will take David about 10-15 minutes to and from work.  Promise to get lots of photos once we move in. 

We have so many things to line up now and to buy since we sold so much before we left.  We ran out after work yesterday and bought a mattress and 3 TVs.  They will all be delivered on Wednesday, so we will start staying in the house at that point, and by then, we hope to be mostly unpacked (all the essentials at least).  We also ordered a kitchen table set online yesterday too. 

We are in the process of setting up movers to help us on Monday.  Our UBOXES are scheduled to be delivered on Saturday afternoon and will be waiting for us to get started. 

We are in Burlingame - a GREAT city in the peninsula.  Great schools and community features including great weather!  Very excited.  I have checked with the school system here and the boys are zoned for Franklin but it is at capacity, so unless some kids don't come back in the fall, then we will be re-routed to another school (likely Washington) which is about 4 miles away, but all the Burlingame schools are GREAT, so other than the commute to/from school and the fact that our 'neighbors' won't likely go to the same school, we will be ok.  I will know more when I can OFFICIALLY register the boys for school (need a power bill to do that).  School starts here on August 23rd.

That's it for now - focus on moving and getting our household set up this week and then we are in ATL for the next weekend to enjoy Neil & Stacie's baby shower and Ryan's 6th birthday party!
