Housing - Again

Noticing the trend - that housing is dominating the blog lately...welcome to my world...my homeless world. 

We are getting close though!  We have two homes that we REALLY like.  We are in the application process with both, so hopefully the odds are with us that at least one will work out.  Waiting to hear back on one - Ginger had an in-person interview with that one yesterday :)  She has a pet resume and now an interview - maybe she can get some work? 

We are all either suffering from or fighting off the always unpleasant summer cold...not that any type of cold is a welcomed visitor, but summer colds are just WRONG!  Hopefully we will all be better by the long weekend.  The first holiday in CA.  Excited and sad.  Normally, we'd have a weekend full of plans with friends and family, but we are thrilled to have Granny and Oupa in town for part of the weekend at least.  There are tons of things going on in the area, so I am sure we will find some fun things to do.  Would make it MUCH better if we have a house secured by then!!  Would love to have a firm date as to when we will be out of our apartment and can get on with the rest of our lives and stop spending all our time looking for a house and start spending all our time looking for items for our new home and unpacking all the boxes - HAHA
