What a day...and it's only 1/2 over!
Was up and going super early (6am) for our 5K. It was so much fun running w/my girlfriends! The weather was ideal too! Will definitely have to make it an annual tradition. Now Kristy has it in her mind that we should all do the Disney Princess 1/2 marathon!!!! (for those of you who don't know, a 5K is 3.1 miles, a 10K is 6.2miles and a 1/2 marathon is 13.5 miles!!)
Right after the run, headed home and back into the car to go to the Y for an hour at the spin-a-thon fundraiser. It was a grueling hour!! Made it through - exhausted but feeling accomplished! We don't have metrics on our spin bikes, but they estimate that average one hour ride is about 20 miles...so, that totals an approximate 40Km day for me!!
Now, showered and refreshed and off to a birthday party (a puppet show) that the boys will LOVE and then our concert! What a great weekend!!! I will sleep well tonight - and hopefully IN just a little bit tomorrow given that it is a special holiday, or so I have been told!
