Almost...

I am always amazed at how fast time flies - I know it is a cliche, but it is so true....on a daily basis (is it really 3pm? already), the days and weeks run into the next (especially when we are counting the days until D comes home)....and yes, Christmas is days away and so is an entire new year. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy every moment (almost every moment) of every day....and have so many great memories of 2007...and even though I feel it has flown by, I am also amazed at just how much we managed to cram into one year!

My first week at work went pretty well....I got my laptop and am just getting up to speed on everything. I think it integrated fairly smoothly with our lives especailly with how hectic are lives are now - the week before Christmas, our trip and New Years. In case I haven't mentioned it, we are leaving on the 27th for a few days in the Blue Ridge mountains with Grandy, Oupa, Alan, Andrew and Neil.

D is in town through all the holidays...so we are going to cram in lots of quality time and chores...he will probably be begging to go back to Raleigh by the end of the next two weeks :)
