End of a busy summer...

Have we ever had a busy time lately....where to start.

We had some good quality time with David before he started his term 3 of 4 (and toughest term of them all) this past weekend...he had 3 weeks off in between, and we got a glimpse of what our 'normal' life was before and hopefully will return to one day.

We met Andrew for the first time over Labor Day weekend - what a treat - and such a genuinely nice person...and we actually got to have lunch with Andrew and Alan this past Sunday as well.

Paige was visiting from Colorado this past weekend....we attended Wynita's baby shower which was fun. Looking back, we didn't really do that much while she was here, but it seems like we were always on the go, and am I ever exhausted.

David left on Sunday and is in Boston for the week. My mom is here today and is staying the night with us. Today, we had a playdate at the playroom with our playgroup (that's alot of play)....boy is that place ever fun. Kristy, Lauren and Baby Kate joined us.

Tomorrow, Ethan has school and Ryan and I are working at the Y, and nothing too eventful for the rest of the week. This weekend is our special girls weekend away...can't wait for that...it has been a long time in the planning and almost didn't happen on so many levels....but we are going and it is thanks to our continued efforts and just refusing to let anything stop us from celebrating this huge milestone of 20 years together. I can't wait!

The rest of the month is busy too, with Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year) around the corner...and ALL the family is back in town to celebrate it with us!...but, David is also in school that weekend :(

I can't believe it, but our little Ethan is about to be 3 years old!

Do I ever have some wonderful photos to share with you....not from anything in particular really...just a bunch of mini-occasions (Ethan's 1st day of school, Andrew's visit, playdates, etc.)...enjoy them.
