Spring Break in ATL

We had a great Spring Break week in Atlanta.  We got in late Friday night (the 30th) and were met at the airport by Alan who loaned us a car for the week (how generous!).  We headed to Costwold to see Granny as Oupa was in South Africa for a family funeral until Tuesday). 

Saturday and Sunday largely were for wedding-related events for Amanda.  We did fit in a family breakfast on Saturday morning.  I had a fabulous time with Amanda's bachelorette event on Saturday evening/night!  While I was there, David and the boys were able to go to a special event for our friends new food truck, Happy Belly. 

Sunday, we had a co-ed NON shower for Tommy and Amanda.  It was April's Fool day, so we had some fun with that and decorated for a BABY SHOWER!  T&A were great sports about it.

Monday we did some errands and chores for our rental home - our tenants are not renewing at the end of May, so we met our rental Realtor, Kay there to start the process of re-listing. 

Tuesday was a fun, full day at Stone Mountain with our friends Tonya and Harrison. 

Wednesday was more chores and errands - nothing too bad. 

Thursday, the boys and I headed to see some old friends in our old area.  Had some playdates and lunch while David had some time to have lunch with family.

Friday, we headed to Six Flags with friends - but it was a mistake....they were packed being Good Friday and the last of Spring Break.  There was even a line at the exit!!  We were able to celebrate the beginning of Passover with a family Seder at Vickery.

Saturday was a short visit to A&A's place in Midtown - AMAZING view of that area and such a PRIME location!!  We were very happy that A&A were able to come back from India a day early to visit with us!  Then airport and home...very happy, uneventful flight home!  GREAT week!
