All About Ryan

Ryan is at that phase where he is just saying the most amazing things that can just make you laugh out loud (which we try not to do since he isn't *trying* to be funny!) Wanted to share a few with you.

One day, he asks me, 'mommy, are all men furry when they grow big?'
me, 'yes, Ryan, all men get a bit hairy, some more than others'
he thinks a minute and says, 'well, I guess I will still grow up and become furry then'

Then, in the car on Thursday, he tells me out of the blue that he has decided to change his name. He wants to keep Nathan and Dubovky, but instead of Ryan, he wants to be called 'EXIT'. Don't even ask me because I have NO IDEA where that one came from :)

Finally, we were walking home from our bus stop Friday after school, and he sees a vine in the neighbor's yard. He says, 'look mommy, it's poison IVAN'. Which it wasn't, but he is obsessed with 3 pointed leaves ever since we took a walk in the wooded area at the park about 6 months ago! We explained to him what it looked like and why to avoid it, and boom, instant obsession!
