SF - Week of Paige (Days 8-12)

The boys and I had the day to ourselves on Monday, the 19th, since David was back to work, and Paige didn't arrive until later that night. We did some errands (grocery and bookstore), went to the playground and did some laundry. We met David at his office for dinner and then to the airport to fetch Paige!

On Tuesday, we walked all the way to Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf AND Ghirardelli Square. It was a long day, but we had tons of fun! At Pier 39, we did the aquarium which was very small and basic. We had passes as part of our CityPass package, or it would have been a total waste. Here are some cool photos from the walk/day...


We ran across the sculptures on the walk - Ethan is doing a great job of telling a secret, Ryan put his foot in his mouth and as always, tried out his karate.


We also spent some time bird watching on the pier. There was one bird that was VERY friendly with the boys - maybe because they were eating goldfish!

Wednesday (Ryan's actual birthday), we spent the day at The Exploratorium.Then we had dinner at Cheesecake Factory which is on the top floor of Macy's in Union Square. VERY cool views, great food and SUPER company! We celebrated Ryan's 5th and Paige's 35th (July 10th).

On Thursday, we spent that day at Academy of Sciences. It was actually pretty cool! They have the best (biggest in the world) Planetarium with an amazing space voyage! No photos of course (not allowed in there). There was a fire alarm during our visit, and we had to evacuate the building for a while, but it ended well when we got to go back in.

On Friday, we drove to Fairfield, CA to the Jelly Belly Factory for the free tour. It was worth the 45 minute drive!! It was cool to see how the Jelly Bellies are made! The drive was nice too!




Paige had to fly out Friday night, so after dinner we said good bye to her at the airport.
