More news...

Ethan had his 6 year check-up this afternoon. He is doing very well! He is still 25% for height at just over 44 inches, but in the 90% for weight at 57lbs! It's not surprising beacuse he is such an eater...always hungry, but I just want to make sure that we keep him on the right path and not set him up to struggle with weight his whole life...but without making a huge issue out of it...he is still a child and deserves the innocence (and candy) of childhood. Time to get a LOT MORE active!

The doctor wants to follow-up with a neck X-ray. She suspects his tonsils are excessively large for many reasons, so she wants to take a look at them. If they are, she may want to have them removed...but we will cross that bridge when it presents itself.

We made it to Karate 4 times this week which was great for the boys. They are getting really good and will be ready for their next stripe soon.

Some rather big news to report....Chris told me yesterday that he and Amy are expecting. She is due in June. In the wise words of Forest Gump, "And that's all I have to say about that..."

We had some pretty serious storm/wind a couple of nights ago...actually woke me up at 3am and almost took the boys to the basement as there were Tornado warnings in the area...I just noticed today, that a neighbor's branch fell on our fence and several boards are damaged. Guess we will be working on that this weekend.

Speaking of weekend - we have a pretty low-key one on tap. David will be car shopping with Alan who is also in the market for a new car. I have our HOA meeting tomorrow mid-day. We will likely do something family related in the pm as it is 2nd night Hanukkah. The boys and I have just finished lighting the first candle and they got their first gifts.
