A quick note about Ry's Panda

I was looking back on my oldest blog postings (late 2005 - can you believe it has been almost 3 full years of the DARE happenings?!?). Regardless, there was a giant panda born at the National Zoo in DC just a few days before Ryan in July 2005. Here is that post.

At the time that baby giant panda was very much smaller then Ryan but I prosphesized that one day that would change...well, today, the panda weighs over 180lbs while Ry weighs in just under 35!

And in case it ever comes up in a trivia contest or otherwise important, a newborn Panda will outweigh a newborn human baby around 3.5 - 4 months old :)
