Took the boys for well visits today - Ethan's 3 year and Ryan's 15 month. Turns out Ryan's wasn't so 'well', he has an ear infection, so he didn't get any shots today. He is on meds for 10 days and will get them when he goes back for his re-check.
Ethan got a flu shot - his first in a while...he was such a big boy. He also got the eye screening test.
Both boys are growing well. They are 4.5" difference in height and about 7lbs different in weight. Ethan is 10-25% on height and weight and Ryan is 50% on height and 20% for weight which is purely amazing if you see the way he eats! Must be using lots of calories being so active - and is he ever active...into absolutely everything, and does EVERYTHING his big brother does!
I am finally feeling better since I am on day 4 of my meds. After the boys dr visit this morning, we met David at his office to take him to lunch for his birthday. Found out that David has to be out of town next Mon-Wed and will MISS HALLOWEEN! That is pure torture for the daddy of the two cutest boys in the world to miss them dressed up and trick-or-treating....but alas, he will have to. We will miss him!
This week: Ryan and I work at the Y tomorrow while Ethan has preschool. No visit from Grandy and Oupa as Grandy is off to South Africa (have a good trip)! Thursday night, my neighborhood is having a ladies night...we are going to Three-13 salon to hang out and get some spa action. Amanda is coming to play with the boys for a while and we will have dinner afterward. Friday is school again for Ethan, and Ryan and I will head to the Y for our TLC meeting (the psudo Weight Watchers plan) and maybe a workout if I am up for it....the afternoon will be for catching up at home on all the laundry....and hopefully some thank you notes for Ethan and Ryan's birthday gifts!!!
Next Week: HALLOWEEN! and that dominates our week...our playgroup is having a Halloween party on Monday...we plan to go to the zoo on Tuesday and then trick-or-treating with Lauren and baby Kate that night....then our usual on Wednesday (Y and school)...we may have lunch plans with Kerry and Wy one day (Wy could have her little boy any day now as she is 36 weeks and has already had some labor pains).
