Pumpkin Patch 2009

The boys and I ended our weekend Sunday afternoon with our annual mecca to the pumpkin patch...this year we went with our neighbors, Noah (his mom, Silke) and Ozan (his mom, Emrah)...so, just a mom and sons afternoon. We went to Berry Patch Farms which is really cute, but they were running VERY low on pumpkins. We were able to manage some nice photos but were not able to come home with a pumpkin...we did get two baby pumpkins and face painting (warning to Granny and Alan, Ryan got a snake on his face and there is a photo here...but hopefully you can see past the snake to Ry's cuteness!) The rest of the weekend...was hectic and wonderful! We started out with dinner at Vickery w/the fam minus A&A who were in sunny Florida for the weekend. Saturday, we had our am workouts (my n'hood bootcamp and D at the Y), then David went for a hair cut. Then we ran out to a public drive to get the boys the H1N1 nasal vaccination. I'm not too worried about swine flu, but since there were no shots and it was free, we went ahead. Then a quick lunch. Ryan and I went to his classmate's, Zoe's party nearby then afterward, we met daddy and Ethan at a neighbor's Halloween party. The boys had so much fun!! Right after that party, we headed home to meet Granny and Oupa. They took the boys out for dinner and dessert and a sleepover!!! David and I went to Aspens for our anniversary and his b-day dinner, and it was FAB! The food was great, and we had planned to go see Couples Retreat, but we just missed our movie time with our long dinner (they were packed!). So, we headed home to watch some of our DVR shows. It was a very nice evening/day.

Sunday, we slept in (no one got us up before 7am!). Then we met the boys and Granny and Oupa for brunch at Goldbergs followed by a tiny bit of shopping at Target and then home until the pumpkin patch trip.

Great weekend! The next will be just as full!

Oh, for the Halloween party, Ethan opted to be a Storm Trooper (star wars) and Ry was green hulk, although I don't think that is our choice for Trick-or-treating for which the final verdict is still not in! Stay tuned for those photos.
