So much to tell

Had a great, busy day today....well, started last night. We decided to have a low-key evening at home. We had some pinestraw delivered and so we put that out....made some yummy salmon for dinner and did a big walk around our neighborhood (getting a petition signed, but that's irrelevant :)

Today, we all went to the Y. Ethan loves the clubhouse; he was getting bored in the nursery, but that's more for little kids anyway. Now Ryan would love to be with Ethan in the clubhouse, but he has to wait until he is 5. David and I did a spin class. After we showered and changed, we tried a new place for lunch and ran some errands. We had to buy David a travel golf bag because he is headed to Raleigh at the end of next week for a client meeting and golf outing. We got a GREAT deal on a display one at Sports Authority. Then we walked over to PetSmart to let the boys see the dogs and cats that were up for adoption (Ethan kept asking if we could buy one...he would have taken them all home if we let him!). Then we went to the bike shop and took the plunge and bought cycle shoes for both David and I...they had a big sale because they are discontinuing a couple of lines. This way, we can clip into the bikes in spin class, AND we also got the special pedals for our bikes so that we can clip into them as well. VERY excited for spin class tomorrow now!

This evening, we had friends over for dinner...my NCHS friends....Kristy, Jen and Janet and respective families (we missed Dawn!)...man are we a big crowd...but it is always SO GREAT to be together and just so easy because we have been together for EVER! Got some cute shots.

RyanKate Lots of funny stories were shared and lots of catching up was done...but I have to mention that Garrett had a baseball game earlier today, and both Jen and Matt were ejected from the game by the umpire :) How cool is that?
