Dad came home Saturday afternoon. He is settled in at home and doing fine. Chris spent the past two nights. David, the boys and I went over for most of Sunday and then the boys and I went today (David is out of town this week and next). He is using his oxygen, but getting around fine. He is healing well. I just need to figure out when he is suppose to see his doctors for follow-ups.
We had a super packed weekend as usual. Saturday, we went to the Y in the morning and then met D's parents for lunch, and they took the boys to their house for a couple of hours while we did some projects at home - we are now wired for sound outside on the new patio! For dinner, Grandy and Oupa brought the boys home and A&A came over and we grilled out burgers and dogs. Then Sunday we had planned to go for a bike ride, but as we were loading up in the am, it started to pour down! So, we scrapped that and headed to dad's house for the day.
We have Ryan's 3rd birthday PIRATE party this weekend - will have lots of photos hopefully! His actual b-day is next Monday. He (and Ethan and truth be told - me) are EXCITED about it. It is also a party to break in the new patio...so we are having lots of adults as well as kids and doing it on Saturday night with 'Yo Ho Ho' Rum punch! Hope it is the party of the summer!
Speaking of summer, it is a long hot one now...the heat and humidity are bearing down on us and the only relief we have is early morning and late evening but that reprieve will disapper soon and our only relief will be the brief thunder storms - ah, GA summers....
No big plans for the week - with D out of town (in Hot Miami!), and dad home and needing us, and the pirate party to work on....well, that is enough there - on top of the fact that Ashley, our nanny, has the flu and hasn't been here in almost a week, and we hope to make it to the Y a few times....not much room for much else - of course we will make the time to see Amanda - she has been out of town for a convention, so we are desperate for our Amanda-time.

So so glad you Dad is doing good!
I hear ya on summer storms. That is one thing that Arizona is not lacking compared to home! Monsoon season here, which is summer thunderstorms. Not an added benefit though is all the humidity and the high temps!
Can't wait to see all the Pirate Party Pics!
