Happy Birthday to Mom!
Today is her 61st birthday.
We are headed over there in about an hour to bring some brunch foods, cards, flowers, cake...all the birthday accompaniments.
We have a man coming to install her lift chair this morning as well. We decided to go with one of those elevator chairs that install on your stairs rather than a ramp because it was quite a bit cheaper (bought one used on craigslist), is inside and not subject to weather issues, it can be removed (and possible resold if needed). It should work just fine and relieve a lot of physical and mental stress on all parties involved.
I think mom's sibling are coming for quick visits this afternoon for her birthday.
