Go Dawgs...

Even as I type this post, UGA it dominating Hawaii in the Sugar Bowl - one of my fav pre-game commercials was a melange of UGA players stating, "you can't spell sugar without the U-G-A!"...it was nice!

Hope you all had a great New Years Eve whatever your plans were. We got off to a bit of a rough start (we had reservations for 16 at 'where the man makes the fire'), but we get there (with 8 hungry kids ranging in age from 1 - 8 AND a very pregnant mom-to-be), and they had no table for us...they had our reservation made a month ago, but they were busy - as the always are on NYE (this is our usual NYE dinner spot)...FINALLY, almost an hour later, we get seated and the kids were so well behaved the whole time...we were very impressed with them all. After dinner, we ended up heading over to the Whitehurst home planning to visit with them for an hour or so and then home to bed...well, we headed home at 12:30pm after watching the Dicks Rocking NYE - how sad is that (Dick looks really bad). Not much on the agenda for the day today....went grocery shopping so we are stocked finally! Caught up on laundry - which worries me a bit with the old wives' tale about what you do on New Year day is what you will be doing all year long....can't get much worse I guess :) D has been watching alot of football :)

I hoped to have an early night, but both boys and I had naps today...and the game is on...I guess we will get back on schedule by tomorrow night. D is working from home tomorrow, but has to go to Philly on Th-F. He is somewhere the next two weeks as well....somewhere not home at least. The boys go back to school on Friday. I have some work that I hope to get done this week as well.

We are also working on planning our vacations for 2008. Looks like we will be doing our first Disney cruise later in the year - we are waiting until after Ry turns 3 because that's when the fun kids camps and such start....haven't booked yet, but apparently Disney Cruises are so poplular that they book up way in advance, so we have to get on it! We were also looking for something to do earlier in the year, and it looks like it might be a Carnival cruise...they have kids camps from 2 up, so that will work out well. Not sure yet...
