Man did we ever pack a LOT into today....we were planning to meet some of Ethan AND Ryan's classmates at the park this morning (school is out today and tomorrow for Sukkot)....and our friend Angela Slay called out of the blue to say that she would be on this side of town (she lives in Suwanee) for work WITH her two boys...we use to do playdates with her and Conor when our boys, who are only one month apart, were still infants! Now, she has Luke as well. So, we all went to the park and had a picnic there. It was SO GREAT to see then! Her little boys are edible!! And it was neat because we knew so many people at the park - it was like being at our own home...but it was H-O-T! The boys got completely exhausted.
We came home and did some chores (laundry, phone calls, etc.) - found D and I a new dentist...we had to get a new one with our new plan at the new job...seeing him later in Oct. Ryan napped...Christine came over to babysit the boys while I did ladies night with my neighbohood ladies...we went to a local boutique shop called Oceano - they had an open house tonight with wine and snacks...so many cute things!
Tomorrow, the boys go to the playroom while I am at my training session and get my hair done...David gets home really late tomorrow night, so we won't even get to have dinner with him :( I really don't like it when he is gone the full week...but hopefully he is having fun in NJ! It certainly isn't as if we aren't keeping busy.
The weekend is even more packed...Saturday we have Ethan's 1st ever Soccer practice and game!! So excited - and you can be sure there will be photos. Then the GA game is at 1:30 against Ole Miss...will be watching that one of course. Then that night we are going to a 'Beer for Boobs' event that my neighbor his hosting to help a friend raise money for the breast cancer walk - funny! Sunday, David and I have a training session and my parents are coming over to hang with the boys...David and I might try to squeeze some bike shopping in as well depending....we are going to take up biking as a family and trail bike on Sundays this fall...so excited...it is all part of us becoming more healthy as a family.
