This year, we didn't make it all the way to one of the big pumpkin 'patches' with all that is crammed into our lives right now....Kristy and I just took our four lil' pumpkins to a little pumpkin display at a local church...the photos are just as cute...and the kids had just as much fun.
Yesterday, the Dawgs lost...although not as badly as was expected to Florida...this season is a bit of a wash for us anyways...since David isn't getting to watch many games and the social aspect is out for us (which is what I enjoy the most anyway)...we will just enjoy next season!
Yesterday (Saturday), the boys and I had lunch with Amanda to celebrate her upcoming (on Halloween) birthday...we are also joining her and some of her friends for dinner tonight. Last night, we had a visit and dinner with Oupa. David had focused on school the whole weekend since he has alot due this Friday and class this coming weekend...and is out of town for most of this week - including Halloween!!!
The boys and I have a playgroup halloween party on Monday - Ethan will be a Red Power Ranger and Ryan, Bob the Builder (stay tuned for photos!)...we are taking a spooky (and yummy) 'graveyard' dessert - photos of that to come too....then on Tuesday, we may be heading to the zoo pending the weather and then trick-or-treating that night with Lauren and Kate (Ethan will be Buzz Lightyear and Ryan will be a duck)...and Lauren will be Darth Vader! Kate may be yoda if she makes it out....how cute!
The rest of the week is just as hectic...work and school on Wed.....photos at Picture People on Thursday am followed by lunch with Wy and Kerry (if Wy doesn't deliver first! - see her blog at the link above)...
Grandy comes home from Capetown this week....the wedding was today!
