This is Ethan's first class photo! How sweet are these kids? The Frog Class - only one other boy, Scott (front left), and he and Ethan have become great friends! That's Ms Debi (a former South African) and Ms Lisa, then next row (L-R) is Leah, Nicole, Skyler, then Scott, Julie and Ethan on the front row. The thing Ethan likes most about the picture - that he has a car and no one else does. He loves to just carry this picture around and name the people. What a great year he has had - and a great first experience with school.
Although the primary reasons for him going to school this year was for some socialization without mommy around (and some free time for mommy), he has actually learned alot this year - lots of new songs, and he can even give the Shabbat blessing on bread all by himself - in Hebrew! He loves school and is so proud of all his art/creations, and of his independence.
Just one week left - Wednesday and Friday of next week...then he will start at his new school, Sunshine Preschool at the JCC in August. They have a phenomenal program, and we are sure he will be happy there. Right now, the plan is for him to go Tu/Th there. Ryan won't start school this fall, but will likely start when he is two.
