Ryan's 6 month check-up

Ryan went for his 6 month check up today to see Dr Colon. He did very well and liked all the attention (we got to see our Jennifer! - BONUS). He weighs 17lbs 3oz, is 26.24 inches tall, and his head is 17 inches - believe it or not, those are all in the 50% percentile - he is completely average - except in cuteness of course! BTW, at 6 months, Ethan was a bit behind Ryan but not much at 17lbs .5oz and 26 inches - very interesting! They seem to be looking more and more alike every day too. As far as milestones, they are both right on the same development track, and as best I can tell their temperments are very similar as well - both good eaters but not the best sleepers. Definitely brothers - maybe twins separated by 2 years - we will see!

Ryan had to get 4 shots today - 2 in each plump thigh, which he did NOT like. Good news is that he won't ever have to get as many at one time, and he won't have to have ANY at 9 months which is his next check-up.

My mom and dad visited today with Taffy - Ethan LOVED that. And we just found out that uncle Alan is coming to town this weekend - looks like it is uncle Neil's turn.
